Peace Through The Holiday Season!

Peace Through The Holiday Season!

I find it rather amusing (not really) that during the Christmas season, as we celebrate the birth of the prince of peace, that we have stress and strife rather than peace.

In fact the book of James reminds us that where we have strife and envy that we also have confusion and every evil work!  Merry Christmas, right?

"For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work." – James 3:16

So, I ask you to look closely at the true reason behind the season and allow true peace to overshadow you.

The key is to refocus – focus on Jesus.

I am all about the family and the gifts – yet the stress of shopping and travel can be overbearing if we focus on the activities instead of Christ.

The focus on Jesus …

Prophetic Word of the Lord for 2015

Prophetic Word of the Lord for 2015

by Wayne Sutton

*This word of the Lord came to me through several sessions of prayer and worship. It came as a vision, and then the Lord began to expand upon it, and expand even more. The strongest parts for me were the secret chamber of stones, and the word MAGNIFY.  Focus on the Kingdom and our Lord Jesus this year – and expect greatness.

Hallelujah, the Lord is saying for 2015, "You will see, you will see me in that secret

place, in that chamber. I'm calling you into a chamber of my own, a chamber of my own, so that I may show you the doors. I can show you the doors. No, there are no locks upon the doors. There are no locks upon the doors. Walk through the archway into your place of …

Preparing for Promotion!

Preparing for Promotion!

by Sherry Evans

The time between the revelation of a promise from God and the fulfillment of that promise can be difficult! New challenges, doors, and opportunities await! How do we do our part to prepare? Can we forfeit what God has called us to?

1. Your preparation begins with developing a heart that desires God’s glory above all else.

Saul had everything going for him in the natural, but he lost the kingdom. It began when he found himself in a tight situation during battle. Saul waited for Samuel to come to present an offering to the Lord for a little while, but Samuel was  slow in coming, so Saul brought the offering contrary to God’s law. His reason? “I saw that the people were scattering …

Understanding The Power In The Blood Of Jesus Christ!

Understanding The Power In The Blood Of Jesus Christ!

Do you know that there's power in Jesus blood?

Every covenant is sealed with blood, and in the case of The New Testament, it was sealed with the blood of Jesus. The Christian faith is anchored on the shed blood of Jesus, and an understanding of its power and the benefits will help you apply your faith to it.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. (Revelation 12:11 NKJV)

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which

God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (I Corinthians 2:7-8 NKJV)

Then Jesus said to them…

THE PUSH! ~ A Word Of Encouragement

THE PUSH! ~ A Word Of Encouragement

by Julie Price

I had a vision of a woman in intense pain. She was in labor and had been for some time. She had grown very weary from the pushing and was in that moment where she just didn’t know if she could push anymore. She was spent.

The people around her began to encourage her to give it all she had one more time. The baby was almost here. With every last fiber of being she gathered up all the strength and courage she had and she pushed and pushed like never before. It was painful and intense, but it was the most important push so far. Then suddenly, there came baby and the woman was forever changed. She would never be the same. The moment she had waited for had arrived. It didn’t take long for the woman to forget all the …

The Spiritual Famine Has Come to an End

by Elaine Tavolacc

The Holy Spirit showed me something interesting this week to share with you. Famines are mentioned several times throughout the bible, especially in the Old Testament. During a famine, people will eat anything that is available to them. In 2 Kings 6:25 the people were so famished that they ate donkey heads and doves dung. In verse 29 they even boiled a child and ate it.

In the book of Amos chapter 8:11-12, God pronounced a judgment on the land by saying that there was coming a famine in the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water but a famine of hearing the voice of the Lord. Many people today don’t realize that this spiritual famine was for a …

Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit by Gloria Copeland

Be Sensitive to the Holy Spirit by Gloria Copeland

During the past we were debtors to the flesh. But now
God is calling us to set our love on things above.
He wants us to give our attention to the things of the
spirit so we are able to dominate the world around us with
the love and power of God. God has patiently waited for the Church. It's time for His power and glory to be manifested as never before.

up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Thus, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die : but if ye through the Spirit do mortify
the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

In the Old Testament, God's children were very careful about the dwelling …
