Love Broke Thru
I was feelin’ that, feelin’ that breeze
Singin’ like a song thru the tall oak trees
It was just another summer night
Had to be the last thing on my mind
Yeah, I was all but lost in the moment
I was young and runnin’ wide open
It was just another summer night
Had to be the last thing on my mind

When love broke thru
You found me in the darkness
Wanderin’ thru the desert
I was a hopeless fool
Now I’m hopelessly devoted
My chains are broken
And it all began with You
When love broke thru
And it all began with You
When love broke thru

I did all that I could to undo me
But You loved me enough to pursue me
Yeah, You drew me out of the shadows
Made me believe that I mattered, to You (You)
You were there, You heard my prayer in that broke down dusty room
It was the first time I said, “I’m Yours”
The first time I called You Lord

When love broke thru
You found me in the darkness
Wanderin’ thru the desert
I was a hopeless fool
Now I’m hopelessly devoted
My chains are broken
And it all began with You
When love broke thru
And it all began with You
When love broke thru

Yeah, it was late in the summer when the northeast breeze
Sang like a song thru the oak trees
Pennsylvania
She kind of caught my soul
Which had me a little more open than closed
Walls I built
Opinions I learned
Covered in the ashes of bridges I burned
Blind to the arrow that headed to my heart
But You hit the mark

When love broke thru
You found me in the darkness
Wanderin’ thru the desert
I was a hopeless fool
Now I’m hopelessly devoted
My chains are broken
And it all began with You
When love broke thru

When love broke thru
You found me in the darkness
Wanderin’ thru the desert
I was a hopeless fool
Now I’m hopelessly devoted
My chains are broken
And it all began with You
When love broke thru
And it all began with You
When love broke thru

I did all that I could to undo me
But You loved me enough to pursue me

They Thought She was Just Delivering A Poem; What Happens Next Will Leave You Either Amazed Or Convicted

Romans 12:1 New International Version (NIV)

A Living Sacrifice
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

More than the songs we sing and the praises and worship we utter, Romans 12:1 says our true and proper worship is to offer our bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.

This might not fit the standard of our generation today where sex outside marriage is upheld and encouraged as long as it is “SAFE”. We surmise that because it is “safe sex” it is going to be okay as long we aren’t hurting anybody.
But we fail to remember that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and most of all we were bought with a price.

Watch this throat-tightening truth that were artistically bundled into a poem by Canden Webb that will either leave you amazed or convicted.

“The poem is called Romans 12:1 to mean submitting to God, not only in one area but in all; especially regarding our bodies,” Canden Webb said.

Remember The Miracle Jesus Did With 5 Loaves & 2 Fish? It Just Happened Again! WOW!

Remember The Miracle Jesus Did With 5 Loaves & 2 Fish? It Just Happened Again! WOW!

But Jesus said, “They need not go away; you give them something to eat.” They said to him, “We have only five loaves here and two fish.” And he said, “Bring them here to me.” Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds. And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over. And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children. (Matthew 14:16-21)

God still works miracles today! Just as what happened long years ago when Jesus fed 5,000 people, it has also happened today!

Seth Barnes shared this miracle on his blog, Radical Living. His volunteer team from Lesvos, Greece, who has been helping thousands of refugees from Turkey by extending food, clothing shelter just witnessed a miracle. Team member Dayna Bickham shared in a Facebook post:

In summary, Seth Barnes stated, “400 hungry refugees just off the boat from Turkey. We served them individual meals for about 250 in 7 trays. When they were finished eating, instead of 150 people who didn’t get food complaining, there were multiple trays leftover!”

Indeed, God is a miraculous God!

He Begged God To Fix His Marriage…But This Happened To Him Instead! GREAT Testimony!

He Begged God To Fix His Marriage…But This Happened To Him Instead! GREAT Testimony!

When things started to fall apart, Jared Taibi took a long time to ask God for help.

He knew God is able to help his people but he is somehow unsure if God was willing to help him.

Sometimes, we go through a place of condemnation thinking we have gone too far from God’s reach. We also don’t want to ask Him for help because we think God won’t help a disobedient, prideful, problem child.

Jared grew up in a Christian home. He has been raised with the knowledge of Jesus intact but he never really had a personal relationship with Him. Jared sought to find things that can hide his wounds and insecurities. He indulged himself with drinking, partying and the pursuit of pleasure. When nothing seemed to suffice, he buried himself with body building and it completely engulfed him to the point that he did not care of anything else–even his marriage.

Things started to go downhill from there. He did not know how to fix it and he remained prideful not to ask help from God because he doesn’t want to get disappointment. When nothing else seemed to work and his wife finally left him, he decided to seek help and refuge from God. He begged God to help him get through everything. He begged God to fix his marriage but somehow he couldn’t see the hand of God working on his behalf.

He had a choice. Either stop asking God for help or to continue to cling to him. At this point he didn’t  want to face things alone. So even without a visible breakthrough he continued to hold on to God, this time, surrendering everything, no conditions, no expectations but just a pure hunger of his presence in his life. He didn’t want anything else But God. God met him at the lowest point of his life. God took away the suicidal thoughts, the depression and planted hope, joy, peace and love in his heart.

3 Things Every Christian Should Know About Jesus.

3 Things Every Christian Should Know About Jesus.

As Christians, we are already very familiar about the ABCs of Christianity, like how Jesus came to earth to save us. We can go and speak and share the gospel to other people and praise Jesus on everything that he has done for us. From the miracles he performed to the 7 last words he spoke when he was hung on the cross and that glorious moment He was raised from death and ascended to heaven.

But there’s so much that we need to know about Jesus. Here are 3 truths about His time here on earth that we Christians often overlook.

1. Jesus wept for you.

Isaiah 53:3New Living Translation (NLT)

“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down.”

The prophet Isaiah foretold and described the emotional pain Jesus went through. A man of sorrows is how the prophet Isaiah puts it. Jesus wept and was bearing the pain of the world. Our pain. HE WAS A MAN when he went through all of this, so imagine His turmoil.

2. Jesus went through the worse temptation you could ever imagine.

C.S. Lewis puts it this way, “Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is. . . . A man who gives in to temptation after five minutes simply does not know what it would have been like an hour later. That is why bad people, in one sense, know very little about badness. They have lived a sheltered life by always giving in. We never find out the strength of the evil impulse inside us until we try to fight it.”

He resisted temptation until the devil fled from him. The devil knew he has no power over Jesus.

3. Jesus did not only go through an excruciating death but He also underwent wrenching trouble, stress and fear.

Jesus went to pray in the garden of Gethsemane when He told Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” (see Matthew 26:38) He always knew what was about to happen to Him. . But it was different when his appointed time to be crucified has arrived. Jesus had human emotions even if he was 100% divine. The account of Mark 14:35-36 it stated it this way.

35 Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him. 36 “Abba, Father,” he said, “everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

It was picture a man in fear and desperation. He basically begged the Father to spare him. He did not want to die. This is contrary to the common misconception that Jesus was on a suicide mission. No, He did not want to die but he wanted to do the will of The Father.

Jesus did not just stride and lived a well life here on earth. He did the will of the Father to offer redemption and salvation to everyone of us. Isn’t that amazing?

Psalm 18:16-19 The Message (MSG)

But me he caught—reached all the way
from sky to sea; he pulled me out
Of that ocean of hate, that enemy chaos,
the void in which I was drowning.
They hit me when I was down,
but God stuck by me.
He stood me up on a wide-open field;
I stood there saved—surprised to be loved!
