Bieber Ministers At Manchester Concert: “God Is Good In The Midst Of Evil. He Loves You”

Pop star Ariana Grande has hosted a hope-filled concert in remembrance of those who lost their lives in a terrorist attack at her Manchester show last month. Bringing together 50,000 people at the Old Trafford cricket ground, Grande sought to unite people in love. It was a beautiful evening full of faith, hope, love, joy and some of the best musical talent the world has to offer.
Marcus Mumford opened up the show with a minute’s silence, before performing an emotional rendition of Mumford and Sons’ ‘Timshel,’ telling the vast crowd “You are not alone in this.”
“Love casts out fear,” Mumford declared, referencing 1 John 4:18. The message was received with rapturous applause.
Later on in the evening, Justin Bieber took to the stage, offering his heartfelt condolences to the victim’s families and applauding the ‘brave’ Manchester natives for coming out and for not letting hate win the day. Then, he said some extraordinary words in what was a bold moment of faith and hope.
“We won’t let go of hope, we won’t let go of God,” he bellowed.
“God is good in the midst of the darkness. God is good in the midst of the evil. God is in the midst no matter what’s happening in the world. He loves you, and He is here for you.”
