Mandy Harvey is a remarkable young woman. She was rendered deaf at the age of 18 due to a connective tissue disorder.

But Mandy is a musician, and she wasn’t going to let this hinder her. She decided to relearn how to sing by tapping into the vibrations that music creates. She then took her talent one step further when choosing to appear on America’s Got Talent.

Her original performance has garnered over 3 MILLION shares on Facebook, and over 140 million views. Now, a video has surfaced of Mandy singing the famous worship song ‘It Is Well,’ and it is absolutely breathtaking. The singer has talked openly about her faith, and the struggles she faced when going deaf.

“I don’t think I would have survived it if I hadn’t had faith,” she said on Real Life Stories. “I didn’t know who I was; I didn’t know how to communicate with people, I didn’t want to look at people, I didn’t want to leave my room. I shut myself off from the world. And the only thing I couldn’t shut myself off from is God, and communication there. I certainly tried. I was angry enough that I stopped talking to Him, but I never lost my faith.”
