Pastor Given 30 Years For Throwing A Woman Into Fire And Off Cliff To Cast Out Demons

A pastor from Nicaragua has been sentenced to 30 years behind bars for throwing a woman into fire and then tossing her off a cliff, reports Charisma.

The pastor believed he was performing some sort of exorcism. Vilma Trujillo Garcia died from her wounds in the hospital after witnesses say she was stripped naked, burned and thrown into a gully to “purify” her body from demons.

“It’s unforgiveable what they did to us. They killed my wife, the mother of my two little ones,” Garcia’s husband said. “Now what am I going to tell them?” The pastor, Juan Gregorio Rocha Romero, was reportedly on staff at an Assemblies of God church in Nicaragua, but the church vehemently denies that he held any leadership roles.
