Taking Control of Our Thoughts– Dr. Charles Stanley

Spread the love

The Bible is full of truth about the importance of controlling our minds. In this sermon, Dr. Stanley shares Biblical truth found in Colossians 3 about how our tendencies to think as unbelievers change when we become believers. Christ gives us renewed thoughts and the Bible to guide us towards thinking like Christ—godly and positive thoughts.

  1. Dr. Stanley, I am so grateful to be able to listen to you and how you help me with directing my paths. I have let the devil break up my relationship due to me wanting my boyfriend to change some things about him that bothered me so quickly to the point that I didn't see the good in him. I don't know if I have lost him for good but I see now why when you are single you need to read the word so that you know what to do and say that will help you along your way when you do meet the one. Thank you

  2. This is so much the truth. I hear people all the time say, no body's perfect, people can't help but sin, or other words of escape. We can think right, we can not sin, we can train our mind to think like God. This man speaks God's truth. These sermons are part of my daily life.

  3. Think about this message. Where the mind is, so goes the heart, mouth, hands and feet. Keeping our minds on the things of Jesus requires that we fill our minds with His Word, The Holy Bible. This is the human instruction book. It has instructions for everything that confronts us everyday. We must stay prepared to avoid life's landmines (Satan's traps). He always makes sin look good. I have learned much from Dr. Stanley's books, sermons etc. He speaks the truth about God and Satan.

  4. Jeremiah 8:8
How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
    1 John 5:19
We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
According to the bible, a fallen angel wanted to be God, and his people populate the earth and are the majority.
This fallen angel was to deceive all so they worshipped him.
According to the bible, God is evil as fuck, just like a demon, very unjust, very boastful, very arrogant.
It is very easy to tell what has happened here.
Christians, muslims and jews, all of them worship the devil.
