There is a difference between a life coach and counselor or therapist – and although someone may be trained in both areas, the primary differences will come out during the sessions.
A counselor or therapist will carefully consider where you are in your life, what life situations you are going through, and where the healing needs to manifest. Effective and compassionate therapy will include a vast number of questions, active listening, and feedback based on wisdom.
Effective life or business coaching however, although it will include questions and feedback, may not be nearly as “compassionate” or soft in it’s approach.
