The Producers of faith-based movies ‘God’s Not Dead’ have written a sizeable check to the State of Arkansas to help cover some of the cost of a new Ten Commandments monument, reports Arkansas Matters.
The original piece was destroyed when a man drove his vehicle into the granite structure last month, shattering the monument into pieces.
Nearly $55,000 has now been raised to fund a replacement. “Not only do we want to help, we want to make sure that when you put it back, it’s better and it’s safer because the Ten Commandments do mean something,” a representative with the ‘God’s Not Dead’ film company PureFlix said.
