Vision of Jesus on a rooftop

Vision of Jesus on a rooftop

Hi everyone, my name is Kenneth, a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. I had a night vision back in December of 2013 that I felt led to share. In my vision, I was on a rooftop with another person, who in the vision was my friend. At one point a group of people came up to us and was asking us for our supplies. These people looked very poor and did not have any of their own supplies. We did not give them any and they left. Shortly after I heard that Jesus had come, so I went and talked with my friend about what I had heard. While I was speaking with him, Jesus came around the corner on the rooftop of a building next to the one we were on. I saw Him and was vey excited and proclaimed, “It’s Jesus!” He was wearing white clothing that had blue accents on it. I could not see his face, but only his body. I remember Him being very big and having big shoulders. I saw him put on a white head band, and then he turned and looked at me and smiled. But the face I saw, was not His real face, but looked similar to me. End of vision. Me being on a rooftop was symbolic of me being a watchman, and that my calling is for me to be preaching as it is written in Matthew 10:27 – “What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.” I believe the part of the vision where the poor people came to us asking for our supplies is representing the parable of the 5 wise and 5 foolish virgins in Matthew 25:8-9 – “And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” Also, this could be showing that in those days there will be a famine for the word of God as in Amos 8:11. Me seeing Christ with my face means that I was living my life “Christ like”. 1 John 2:6 – “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” All praise the glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
